Governor of Battambang Province Receives a Courtesy Call from Japan-Cambodia Association

BATTAMBANG: On Wednesday, 2 February, the Governor of Battambang Province, Sok Loo, has received a courtesy call from the Director of the Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA) and General Manager of Nippon Keo Company, Mr. Tamura Tsutomu and colleagues to discuss work and study about silk production in Battambang province and learn about its potential in the province, including their unprocessed agricultural products .

The Director of the Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA), Mr. Tamura Tsutomu has said that the Japan Association plans to bring Japanese investors to visit the Kingdom of Cambodia in Battambang in April 2022 to visit and study the potential of the province as well as the agricultural sector, focusing on small and medium enterprises, especially investment in silk production in Battambang province, as well as to focus on the smart city project.

The Governor of the Board of Governors, Sok Loo has also welcomed the Director of the Japan-Cambodia Association, Tamura Tsutomu and his colleagues who has visited Battambang and learned about the potential of Battambang, especially on recycling of agricultural products and silk work farming to produce silk in Battambang province.

Governor Loo has also expressed his gratitude and request to the Director of the Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA) to promote the dissemination of information about the potential of Battambang to Japanese investors and companies to invest in Battambang.
